Enough with the dreadlocks and Birkenstocks, that's soooo '90's. Environmentalism has become so tres' unhip that we're in danger of losing all the ground we've gained since the '60's. Or so fears Chris Colin in his pierced tongue-in-cheek letter to the editor of the enviro-dank mag Grist. So how do you get the idea of 'caring' across to a generation who's ultimate cool is 'not caring?' Colin has some novel ideas on how to bridge this latest generation gap. Personally, I'd start by changing the name of 'Earth Day' -- I mean 'Earth' is just another name for dirt.
