Research conducted by scientists at the Faculty of Medicine in Lisbon, Portugal, found that people drinking three to four cups of coffee a day from the age of 25 reduced their risk of dementia by as much as 60 percent. Researchers suspect that the caffeine in coffee may protect the brain.
