Black People Love Us, Web site review
December 13, 2002

Fictional characters Sally and Johnny parody the typical
racist's argument, 'I'm not racist; some of my best friends are
black.' This site is devoted to how much black people love Sally
and Johnny and includes testimonials from their black friends who
praise the white couple for gesturing and speaking in a way that
shows they are 'down' with black culture. One friend says, 'Johnny
calls me 'da man!' That puts me at ease. It makes me feel
comfortable, because I'm black and that's how black folks talk to
one another.'
