Gulf War 2 (a.k.a. World War 2.5) is an interactive game that plays out one possible scenario of a war between the U.S. and Iraq with Orwellian vision. In response to an American invasion, Iraqis bomb Israel with a payload of anthrax supplied by the U.S. in the 1980s. Sharon responds “with subtlety and tact,” resulting in a Hamas revolt on the West Bank—and that’s just the beginning! Two-parts political lampoon, one-part cautionary tale, no matter what your strategy, the outcome is always the same: America wins the war, but 1 billion Muslims want us dead.
