The new web site ProgressivePunch.org gives a progressiveness
ranking to every member of Congress, based on thousands of
congressional votes, on issues from labor to environment, taxes to
war, dating all the way back to 1991. The site?s simple interface
lets you search for your representative and senators either by
entering your zip code or choosing their name from a list,
organized both alphabetically and according to their progressive
rank. Then you can see how they rate in a specific issue area, or
overall. The site provides a dizzying level of detail, including
descriptions of every single bill, amendment, and motion taken into
account in calculating its rankings. Before voting in the MoveOn
primary, stop by ProgressivePunch.org to check out how the members
of Congress in the race rate.
