Being Jon Stewart

Anyone familiar with The Daily Show's no-holds-barred journalism could reasonably argue that Jon Stewart holds the most coveted job in American media. From the now-infamous 'Bush vs. Bush Debate' to the breaking news of Martha Stewart's indictment proclaiming '[W]e finally got the ringleader. Maybe now we can lower the nation's terror alert to periwinkle,' Jon Stewart goes where no television news reporter dares: analyzing the news as he really sees it. 'I can't tell you how many times we'll run into a journalist [who says] 'I wish we could be saying that. That's exactly how we see it,' Stewart told Bill Moyers in a recent interview. 'And I always think, 'Well, why don't you?' Check out the transcript of this insightful, entertaining discussion between two of the American media's great minds.
