Femi Anikulapo Kuti will never quite escape the shadow of his father (the Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti), but he has done a creditable job of emulating his father's work, albeit in a less risque way. Kuti was born in London but grew up in Lagos. He has produced a series of albums with his band, Positive Force, and headlined the African Soul Rebels Tour earlier this year.
