Born in the village of Baila, Goudiaby is now among Africa's most respected and successful architects. His company, Atepa Group, is responsible for some of the most innovative buildings in Senegal. His West Africa Central Bank in Dakar is modeled on the baobab tree, where elders in his culture gather for discussions.
