Utne Reader Names Founder of Seeding Labs a Visionary
National Magazine Selects Nina Dudnik Among 25 People Who Are Changing the World

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Oct. 21, 2010) — Utne Reader, the best of the alternative press, names Nina Dudnik, the founder of Seeding Labs, a visionary who is making the world a better place. Dudnik is among 25 people the magazine highlights in its November/December issue, on newsstands now.

Dudnik founded Seeding Labs as a student at Harvard University and expanded chapters throughout the East Coast at Boston University, Mount Sinai Medical School, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Yale University Medical School. Seeding Labs distributes reclaimed lab equipment to scientists in developing countries to further connect them to the global scientific community.

“Throughout the year, as we read and plan issues, our editorial staff and select freelancers compile lists of people and institutions across disciplines that are doing work that challenges the status quo and promises positive, forward progress,” says David Schimke, Utne Reader’s editor in chief.
