If You Weren't Furious Already Over BP and the Oil Spill

Oil spill in water

A journalist travels to Louisiana for a look at the spill and finds herself in a web of PR flacks, angry law enforcement officials, and spill workers. Oh, and that oil washing up on beaches? BP is bagging it and processing it. They've still got to make a buck, right?

God bless Mother Jones.

I just still can't believe this many days have past, and there is still NO solution. I live on the beautiful Emerald Coast, and the thought of it being anything other than Emerald and Beautiful just disgusts me and many others. One of the gifts shops here in Destin, FL is selling a 'SOB' TShirt that reads BP SOB 'Save Our Beaches' and that's exactly how we feel. Want a shirt? Check it out at http://YoutopiaDestin.com .

The people of the Gulf deserve what they get. They allowed a foreign corporation to drill off their shore, they let the U.S. Government sell out to foreign oil interests, and they aren't kicking out the SOB's who continue to spread their incompetent, greedy havoc on the rest of us. You reap what you sow. The only ones that don't deserve this catastrophe are the innocent wild creatures and the environment of the Gulf who have no say in their existence. All I can say is stay the hell out of my State, California, and any politician here who tries to approve any further drilling off our coasts will be tarred and feathered.
