Northampton Publication Featured in National Magazine
Contact Quarterly article on the many benefits of dance reprinted in Utne Reader 

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (April 6, 2010) — The Contact Quarterly article “The Spontaneous Self” will be featured in the May-June issue of Utne Reader, on newsstands April 20.

The article is an interview with author and performer Nina Wise, in which Hannah Fox asks about the importance of improvisation and how therapeutic movement can positively influence one’s brain and health, among many other benefits.


Contact Quarterly is a biannual journal of dance, improvisation, performance and contemporary movement arts. It is the longest-running independent, artist-made, not-for-profit, reader-supported magazine devoted to the dancer's voice.
