Adjaye strives to create a dialogue between a building and its space. His firm, the London-based Adjaye Associates, has received commissions from all over Europe and the United States. Its designs include the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo and the east London projects Elektra House in Whitechapel and Idea Store in Poplar.
