• Ratio of average CEO pay toaverage pay of U.S. blue-collarworker: 531:1

• Percent increase in CEO paybetween 1990 and 2000 (beforeadjusting for inflation): 571

• Number of profitable corporationsthat used special tax breaks andcredits between 1996 and 1998to reduce their corporate incometax to less than zero: 41

• Average percent pay raise for CEOsat those firms during the yearsthey received a tax rebate: 69

• Average total compensation of the30 highest-paid male executives:$112.9 million
