A new study by a group of Pennsylvania psychologists shows that people who have sex once or twice a week get a boost to their immune systems, reports New Scientist (April 17, 1999). But that doesn't mean more sex equals better health. The same study showed that those who have sex three or more times each week actually had weaker immune systems.
