The Daily Misleader

Web site chronicles Bush Administration's lies

| September 29, 2003

Misleader.org, a clever new web site launched on September 15 by Robert L. Borosage of the Campaign for America's Future and the folks at MoveOn.org, provides invaluable daily updates on the constant stream of lies, misrepresentations, misstatements and half-truths coming out of the Bush White House. Meant to be a research aid for journalists, each daily tidbit is thoroughly footnoted, with links to original sources. Updates posted on the site in recent days have included such gems as: 'President Bush's Inspectors Find No Weapons to Support his Claims about Imminent Threat,' 'President Bush Reverses Position on Necessity of U.N. Support in Iraq,' and 'Bush Administration Seeks to Unilaterally Eliminate Overtime Pay for Millions of Workers'.
