U.S. and Japan Under Pressure at Climate

Environmental ministers of the world’s nations have gathered in
Bonn, Germany, this week for talks aimed at curbing the greenhouse
gases that cause global warming. The atmosphere at the crucial
gathering is heavy and foreboding, reports Paul Brown in the UK’s
Guardian Unlimited, because of the likely pullout by
two of the earth’s most prosperous nations, the U.S. and
Japan.
