The latest in religion-themed amusement parks

| March-April 2000

Forget EuroDisney. The latest in French theme parks aims higher than any roller coaster or Ferris wheel. Cathedraloscope, which opened last year in the northwestern French town of Dol-de-Bretagne, features an authentic operating cathedral and an interpretive center, according to Metropolis (Nov. 1999). The $2.7 million project takes visitors through the architectural, historical, and cultural aspects of the cathedral, and delivers a spiritual component as well.
