Campus
Greens, Web site review by Abbie Jarman
Two years after its birth from Students for Nader/LaDuke, the
Campus Greens organization has become a powerful
collaborative web, with 125 student-run chapters working to create
radical democracy in high schools and colleges, pushing reform both
locally (like bringing fair trade products onto campus) and
nationally (like the current “Education Under Attack” campaign that
brings all chapters together to fight the corporatization of
schools). The Web site reports on current Campus Greens
news, provides background information on the organization and a
“call to action” feature, and offers a huge clearinghouse of
resources–from articles on current issues to information on
organizing and campaigning toward a cause.
