A Czech optician has designed a line of sunglasses for Phydeaux,
reports German Life (Aug./Sept. 1999), and the $100 shades
aren’t just for looks. Designer Tomi Suchy notes that several
canine breeds (Boston terriers and Saint Bernards, among others)
are prone to eye problems, and the glasses help shield their eyes
from harmful ultraviolet light.
