What won’t people do to be on television? Answers to that question
diminished by one last year, Benn Ray reports in Detroit’s weekly
Metro Times. Ray’s piece about the two-year-old cable
show Trading Spaces, describes a show devoted to the
proposition that neighbors swap houses for two days while they
redecorate a room in each other’s homes aided by professional
designers. Resultant pink ceilings, hay-covered walls, and
‘puke-green carpet’ have resulted in no lawsuits, thanks to
releases signed in advance by participants.
