Did any of you take the Friday before Martin Luther King Jr. Day
off? Well, you should have, according to Jeffrey Yamaguchi of
Working For The Man. In a cheeky article entitled
‘Sick Day Planning For 2001,’ Yamaguchi tells you in advance which
sick days to take to maximize your vacation time. Does July 4th
fall on a Friday? Then, by all means, take the following Monday
off. Turn Independence Day into Independence Weekend! And if ‘The
Man’ is really getting to you, Yamaguchi recommends burning some
popcorn in the office microwave. If that doesn’t smell sufficiently
bad, he suggests burning some leftover fish. Bon appetit!
