The New York City Olympic Mascot Dilemma

With New York City recently selected as the U.S. nominee for the
2012 Summer Olympics, Bully Magazine thinks it’s never too early to
begin considering the mascot possibilities. Bully’s writers
presented a number of ideas for creatures to properly represent the
games in the city that never sleeps, including: “Urinating Phil,”
the archetypal man peeing in alleyways and subway stations across
the city; “Sunshine the Williamsburg Hipster,” who hails from
Connecticut, but uses her trust fund to slum it in Brooklyn and buy
CDs and Chinese food; and “Randy the Cockroach,” a star-spangled
monster insect: “a symbol that says we may be dirty, but we’re
proud.”
