When Good Morning America weatherman Tony Perkins gushed about his fondness for the high school hockey team from Push, Nevada, on a recent show, he wasn’t crossing over into the sports-guy’s territory, reports Extra! (October 2002). He was just doing a little “grassroots marketing” for an upcoming ABC TV series named, appropriately enough, Push, Nevada. That’s right. The town doesn’t exist.
