Lucy Cooke is a self-described “frog-loving filmmaker,” who picked up from a soul-draining job in London and went to South America, where she’s been investigating the amphibian extinction crisis. As the Amphibian Avenger (the title of her blog), Cooke has also had time to pop up to visit the Aviarios Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica–the only program of its kind in the world) and has shot awesome footage. So, you know, if frogs aren’t your thing, it’s like they say: Come for the marsupials; stay for the amphibians.
