Artist and activist (and visionary!) Favianna Rodriguez collaborated with eco-chef Bryant Terry to design these beautiful posters addressing food justice:

The posters debuted a few weeks ago, at the release party for Terry’s phenomenal new cookbookVegan Soul Kitchen (out last month on Da Capo), and just in time to join a host of alt-press stories on food activism. Mother Jones recently published “Smart Growth,” a fantastic special report on the subject, and the new issue of YES! profiles Will Allen, whose urban farming operation Growing Power produces a staggering 159 varieties of food–tomatoes, honey, chickens (and their free-range eggs), goats, you name it–in the middle of a Milwaukee “food desert,” an area that’s home to zero full-service grocery stores.
