Anarchy! An Anthology of Emma Goldman’s Mother Earth, edited and with commentary by Peter Glassgold (Counterpoint, 2001). A new collection of essays and stories from Emma Goldman’s famed journal, published from 1906 until 1917.

Anarchist Voices: An Oral History of Anarchism in America, by Paul Avrich (Princeton, 1995). The story of the movement by those who have lived it.

No Gods, No Masters, edited by Daniel Guerin, translated by Paul Sharkey (AK Press, 1998). This two-volume anthology includes writing by the seminal arnarchist thinkers Proudhon, Bakunin, Kropotkin, and others.
