quarterly Fifth Estate is going strong, thanks to
a revitalized editorial collective that now includes a rural
Tennessee office. Launched in Detroit in 1965, Fifth Estate was one
of North America's first underground papers. Recent issues have
focused on music and dance (Summer 2003) and creative

English ecoactivist journal Do or Die has
published its tenth and last issue -- a 382-page book jammed with
lively, useful articles on ecological education, staging protests,
