But Would the Trains Run on Time?

In Berkeley, anarchist model railroad enthusiasts have embarked on a “modeling” project based on their dreams for a utopian future. The collective, called Rail Against the Machine, hasn’t decided on a primitivist or syndicalist future for its miniature world, reports the anarchist quarterly Slingshot (Summer 2002), but according to one participant, all the train stations will be extra large “to accommodate a lot of meetings.”
