A California activist group, Women of Vision and Action, is
organizing a weeklong worldwide call to feminine action called
Gather the Women. The group envisions thousands of local events
with women gathering in prayer, forgiveness, and “purposeful
action” beginning March 3 in preparation for International Women’s
Day on March 8, when an estimated 1 billion women will gather all
around the globe to combine their energies to build a new world.
