A Greenhouse Built from Reclaimed Windshields

I’ll confess to being something of a greenhouse nerd, but, really, how could anyone not dig the reclaimed/repurposed windshield greenhouse spotlighted in the latest issue of Green Futures? The “design mimics rooftop tiles, overlapping the [shields] to make the structure watertight and allow for solar convection heating,” the magazine reports. The safety and/or tempered glass strikes me as a pretty big perk, too. Not that I’ve ever done anything clutzy while working on a DIY project.

Great pictures of the same windshield greenhouse over at Inhabit.
